Galaxy Entertainment Triumphs with Five Awards at the IAG IR 2025

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) received five awards at the IAG Academy IR Awards 2025, reaffirming itself as the most awarded integrated resort operator in Macau. Its flagship property, Galaxy Macau, was recognized for the third consecutive time as the 'Best Integrated Resort', in addition to winning awards for 'Best Dining Offer of an IR' and 'Best Hotel in an IR' for Capella at Galaxy Macau. GEG was also awarded for its 'Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program', highlighting its commitment "Heart in the Community, Empathy in Action". Richard Longhurst, Senior Vice President of Gaming at GEG, was named 'Industry Icon'. Roger Lienhard, Executive Vice President of Hospitality at Galaxy Macau, received the awards on behalf of GEG.

Awards Highlighting Excellence

These awards underline GEG's commitment to the comprehensive development of tourism and leisure. Galaxy Macau is recognized for providing world-class tourism experiences, featuring nine premier international hotel brands. Since its opening in 2023, the Galaxy International Convention Center and the Galaxy Arena have hosted over 1,000 events, including shows, sports, and cultural and MICE events.

Diversified and Exclusive Offer

Galaxy Macau offers more than 120 dining options, many of them recommended by the Michelin Guide and the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide. In addition, the resort includes a wide range of attractions such as the Grand Resort Deck, the world's leading water oasis, and the Galaxy Promenade, which houses over 200 international luxury brands. These proposals reinforce Macau's status as a "World Centre of Tourism and Leisure".

New Standard of Luxury in Macau

Capella at Galaxy Macau, designed by Moinard Bétaille of Paris, elevates the standard of luxury tourism in the region. With 95 exclusive suites, each featuring a private infinity pool, Capella represents the "World Class, Asian Heart" philosophy, enriching the high-end tourism and leisure landscape.

Commitment to the Community

GEG reaffirms its commitment to corporate citizenship through initiatives focused on education, sports, culture, and sustainable development. They promote community care, harmony, and support for local SMEs, while fostering values of responsible gaming. These actions have earned recognition from various sectors and stakeholders.

Industry Recognition

The IAG Academy IR Awards, organized by Inside Asian Gaming, aim to recognize companies and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the integrated tourism and leisure industry in the Asia-Pacific region. This year, the jury consisted of 100 industry professionals.
