Greg Mueller managed to survive and move forward in the tournament despite starting with a short stack. His day began with a crucial hand against Lauri Saaskilahti, where his pocket jacks beat Saaskilahti's king-ace, raising him in the rankings. "It was unreal," Mueller commented after the hand. Later, he advanced even further when Jamie Shaevel lost his chips to Jumalon and Rami Hammoud was eliminated by the Canadian.
Hammoud's Betting
Rami Hammoud played as if he was in a hurry to leave, but maintained a good position until he met the wrong cards. Despite his unconventional strategy, he finished in sixth place, taking home $1,750,000. "It wasn't easy to disconnect from the $10 million prize," Hammoud confessed.

The day intensified when Han Feng, who had suffered setbacks with his aces, left the competition in fifth place. Saaskilahti nearly managed to equal Jumalon after a series of aggressive hands that allowed him to double his chips at a critical moment.
Gagliano's Rise
Michael Gagliano managed to get several pay jumps just by staying in the game. Ultimately, his elimination secured the last jump for Mueller. "I did what I could with what I had," Gagliano stated upon being eliminated.
