WPT Announces $2M Fall Championship at Venetian Las Vegas

The World Poker Tour (WPT) has unveiled the WPT Venetian Las Vegas Fall Festival, significantly boosting the fall poker calendar. The festival will span from October 28 to November 15 at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, a venue that previously hosted a successful WPT spring championship in February with 488 entries at $5,000 each.

$2M Championship Event Highlights

Central to the festival is a $2 million championship event occurring from November 5 to 10, contributing to nearly $4 million in total guarantees across the series. This lineup is designed to attract a broad range of poker enthusiasts to this prestigious event.

Other key stops in the schedule include:

• October 23 - WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star
• November 5 - WPT Venetian Las Vegas

The series also includes several bounty events, a seniors' event, and numerous satellites leading to the championship. Tommy LaRosa, director of poker operations at The Venetian Resort, emphasized the venue's status as a premier destination for tournament poker, citing the success of the spring event.
