Team Lead of Media Buying

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Team Lead of Media Buying who combines strong leadership with deep expertise in Facebook performance marketing within iGaming. You don't just manage people—you actively analyze data, generate hypotheses, launch structured tests, and help your team make better decisions based on numbers, not intuition. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Media Buyers, providing daily guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Conduct full-funnel performance analysis across all active campaigns, from impressions to deposits.
• Monitor campaign health by tracking CPM, CTR, CPA, ROAS, and other key metrics to identify performance decline before it impacts profitability.
• Perform cohort analysis (D14/D28), evaluate LTV trends, and account for delayed conversions when making optimization decisions.
• Analyze individual buyer performance, identify best practices, and scale successful approaches across the team.
• Generate, prioritize, and manage structured A/B tests for creatives, audiences, offers, funnels, and GEOs.
• Document all experiments, maintain a knowledge base, and ensure validated campaign setups are replicated correctly.
• Use AI tools daily for campaign analysis, hypothesis generation, creative reviews, and performance insights.
• Research competitors using Spy tools and identify new market opportunities, winning creatives, and scaling strategies.
• Prepare analytical reports with actionable recommendations for the Head of Media Buying.
• Participate in weekly strategic planning sessions and contribute new ideas for scaling campaigns.
• Optimize team workflows by identifying opportunities for automation and collaborating with the technical team.
• Conduct daily team meetings, review blockers, assign priorities, and monitor KPI achievement.
• Support onboarding and development of new Media Buyers through coaching and structured training.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on Facebook Ads experience in iGaming (Casino, Gambling, or Sports Betting) across Tier 1 and Tier 2 markets.
• Experience as a Team Lead or Senior Media Buyer with mentoring or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of CPA, RevShare, ROAS, hold periods, LTV, and net profit calculations.
• Proven hands-on media buying experience with the ability to actively support campaign optimization.
• Strong expertise in full-funnel analytics and identifying performance bottlenecks through data.
• Experience with cohort analysis (D14/D28) and long-term campaign performance evaluation.
• Advanced Google Sheets skills and experience building reports or dashboards.
• Experience with Binom, Keitaro, or similar tracking platforms.
• Experience designing, executing, and documenting structured A/B testing.
• Strong understanding of account farming infrastructure, Business Managers, agency accounts, and account types.
• Experience working with PWA funnels.
• Hands-on experience using Spy tools for competitor research and campaign analysis.
• Daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) for analytics, reporting, creative analysis, and hypothesis generation.
• Strong analytical mindset, leadership skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Fluent English is a plus.
