SBC Summit 2026 Adds Global Payment Compliance Track

The SBC Summit 2026 is set to explore cutting-edge strategies and regulatory developments with its added 'Global Payment Compliance' track. This event, scheduled for September 30, aims to help operators and compliance specialists strengthen payment systems while managing evolving regulatory demands effectively.

Focus on Payment Compliance

The Global Payment Compliance track will be part of the Payment Expert Summit stage, which will also feature the Fintech track on September 29 and the Crypto & Blockchain track on October 1. Rasmus Sojmark, CEO of SBC, stated:

"Payment compliance has become one of the industry’s biggest balancing acts. Operators must combat fraud while delivering seamless payment experiences."

The track will guide delegates on maintaining compliance without compromising customer experience through innovative strategies and technologies.

Highlights on AML and Risk Detection

A notable panel, ‘AML in Motion: Continuous Monitoring in Modern Gaming’, will feature experts such as Luis Carlos Pérez from Lottofy and Gintarė Wycherley of SEON. This session will discuss how automation and intelligent risk detection can enhance compliance procedures while reducing player friction.

Next, the session ‘Cross-Border Compliance: Navigating AML Across African Markets’ will focus on Africa, one of the fastest-growing regions due to mobile money and alternative payment methods. Maruf Lawal of MOKO Afrika and Adenike Oyebamiji from Velex Group will highlight navigating diverse regulatory environments while ensuring smooth payment operations.

Addressing Data Privacy in Compliance

The session, “How Much Is Too Much Data?”, will delve into balancing compliance with data protection. Experts like James Myles from Dragonbet and Miguel Godinho of Betclic Group will provide insights on developing secure processes that satisfy regulatory needs without overstepping data privacy laws.

Further discussions will cover 'AML Readiness for Emerging Game Formats', new financial oversight strategies in 'Prediction Markets, AI and the New Investment Arms Race', and preparations for 'AMLA's Full Rollout'.

Networking Opportunities

Beyond the sessions, attendees can benefit from specialized networking initiatives. The Compliance Show Floor Tour offers a guided experience highlighting leading payment compliance exhibitors. Networking opportunities will facilitate connections among payment and compliance professionals.

Event Details and Participation

From September 29 to October 1, the SBC Summit will welcome 40,000 professionals at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL) and MEO Arena. Participants can engage through a variety of conferences, exhibitions, and educational sessions. Access to the conference, including the payment compliance sessions and networking initiatives, is available with Business or VIP Passes.
