SBC Summit 2026 To Feature Global Payment Compliance Track
The new track will address payment compliance, fraud prevention, and AML strategies with industry experts.

The SBC Summit 2026 will introduce a new 'Global Payment Compliance' track on 30 September, focused on the intersection of technology, strategy, and regulation in payment compliance. This track brings together operators, compliance specialists, and technology providers to explore how businesses can strengthen payment systems and adapt to regulatory challenges.
Exploring Compliance and Customer Experience
The track aims to address current industry challenges by focusing on both compliance and customer experience. Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, explained that operators need to balance fraud prevention and AML compliance while ensuring seamless payment experiences for users. He emphasized that achieving success involves mastering both aspects rather than choosing between them.
Key Sessions and Industry Experts
The 'Global Payment Compliance' track features several key sessions:
- AML in Motion: Continuous Monitoring in Modern Gaming: Experts like Luis Carlos Pérez (Lottofy), Gintarė Wycherley (SEON), and Carmelo Mazza (Betaland/Enjoybet) will discuss how automation in AML compliance can improve risk detection without adding friction.
- Cross-Border Compliance Across Africa: With mobile money growth in Africa, experts Maruf Lawal (MOKO Afrika) and Adenike Oyebamiji (Velex Group) will explore handling varying compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
- Balance Between Compliance and Privacy: James Myles (Dragonbet) and Miguel Godinho (Betclic Group) will examine how to meet regulatory needs without compromising player privacy.
Other Highlights and Networking Opportunities
The track will also cover challenges such as AML readiness for new game formats, predicting markets using AI, and preparing for upcoming European regulations. Attendees can engage in networking opportunities, including the Compliance Show Floor Tour, which connects delegates with leading exhibitors.
Event Details and Participation
The SBC Summit 2026 will be held at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL) and MEO Arena from 29 September to 1 October, expecting 40,000 industry professionals. Access to the summit requires a Business or VIP Pass. Exhibitors interested in joining the Compliance Show Floor Tour can contact SBC's sales team.
By adding this track, the SBC Summit underscores its commitment to promoting effective payment compliance solutions while maintaining consumer-friendly payment systems across the gaming industry.
