EGBA Seeks Regulatory Affairs and Policy Manager for EU Focus

The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) is seeking a Regulatory Affairs and Policy Manager to join its Brussels-based team. This role involves shaping EGBA's regulatory response to developments across the European Union, with a particular emphasis on national regulations. Reporting to the Secretary General, the successful candidate will manage regulatory dossiers and coordinate EGBA’s policy positions.

Primary Responsibilities of the Role

The role includes monitoring and analyzing legislative changes across EU member states, including the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) case law. This analysis will translate into actionable insights for EGBA and its members. The candidate will also develop policy positions, briefings, and advocacy materials, aiming at effective engagement with national regulators and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring EU and national legislative developments.
• Translating legal insights into strategic recommendations.
• Developing advocacy materials.
• Managing a diverse portfolio of regulatory dossiers.
• Coordinating internal committees and working groups.
• Representing EGBA in national meetings and forums.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We seek a professional with 3-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably within a trade association or regulatory body. A degree in law or political science and strong EU law knowledge are desirable. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in additional EU languages.
