SIGA presents report on integrity in sports betting in Latin America

The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) has launched a new edition of the Sport Integrity Journal (SIJ), fully dedicated to integrity in sports betting and the future of regulatory frameworks in Latin America. This publication brings together 24 experts from seven countries to provide a multilateral perspective on the main challenges, opportunities, and reforms affecting integrity in regulated sports betting markets in the region.

Regional Perspective: Increasing Cooperation

SIGA LATIN AMERICA considers that the current context is crucial. The development and consolidation of regulated markets in Brazil, Paraguay, Colombia, Argentina, and Ecuador require moving towards a coordinated, preventive, and sustainable integrity structure. To this end, the edition gathers the vision of public authorities, regulators, sports organizations, operators, lawyers, and compliance experts, along with professionals from Portugal and the United States, who share applicable experiences for the Latin American environment.
