UK Government Proposes Subsidy for UDX Development

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has proposed a £400 million subsidy to UDX Development Company Limited. Subsidy Evaluation by the SAU

The Subsidy Advice Unit (SAU) published its report on August 12, 2026, evaluating DCMS's Assessment of Compliance with the Subsidy Control Act 2022. Under Section 8 of the Industrial Development Act 1982, the grant will support high-cost capital expenditure, enabling the project's completion and subsequent grand opening, no earlier than April 2031.
