Vacancy: Regulatory Affairs and Policy Manager at EGBA

The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) is looking for a Regulatory Affairs and Policy Manager to strengthen its regulatory and policy team. Located in Brussels, EGBA represents leading online gaming operators regulated within the EU.

Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Secretary General, the candidate will monitor, analyze, and shape EGBA's response to regulatory developments in the EU, with special attention to national regulation. A diverse portfolio of files will be managed, and the candidate will play a key role in building and coordinating EGBA's political positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments from the EU and member states, including rulings from the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU).
• Develop political positions, informational materials, and advocacy to support EGBA's interactions with regulators, governments, and national stakeholders.
• Manage regulatory files that include EU law infringement proceedings, policy studies, public consultations, and regulatory surveys.
• Coordinate internal committees and working groups, aligning positions and promoting collaboration on shared regulatory priorities.
• Represent EGBA in meetings, workshops, and industry forums at the national level.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs or policy analysis, preferably in trade associations, regulatory bodies, law firms, or corporate environments. A university degree in law, political science, or a related field is sought, and knowledge of EU law is highly valued.

• Ability to manage multiple complex files with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, primarily in English; other EU languages are an asset.
• Strong networking skills with members, regulators, and government officials.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
