MarePineta Celebrates a Century with New Club House in Milano Marittima

In the year of its centenary, MarePineta Milano Marittima has inaugurated its new Club House, an ambitious project aimed at consolidating its position as a benchmark for Italian hospitality. The inauguration, held on July 16, took place during the event 'OPEN – The First Serve', featuring prominent figures such as Flavia Pennetta, Fabio Fognini, and owners Giancarlo and Davide Salaroli, alongside the mayor of Cervia, Mirko Boschetti.

Centenary of MarePineta

Founded in 1926, the MarePineta Milano Marittima is a symbol of luxury and tradition in Italy. Over a hundred years, the resort has successfully combined elegance and innovation, becoming a pillar of international tourism and a meeting point for important figures in sport and culture.

Under the direction of the Salaroli Group, the structure aims to merge hospitality, wellness, and culture, offering a unique experience. "The Club House is much more than a new addition; it is a synthesis of our future vision," commented Davide Salaroli.

Focus on Tennis

Tennis has been central to the identity of MarePineta since its beginnings, when it hosted the first tournaments on its clay courts. Over time, these facilities have evolved, establishing themselves in the amateur circuit of Romagna.

Currently, the MarePineta Sporting Club, interconnected with the resort and the Beach Club via a scenic path, features eight tennis courts and three padel courts. The 18 suites of the new Club House are inspired by the four Grand Slam tournaments and offer views of the sea and the tennis courts.

Event "OPEN – The First Serve"

The most anticipated inaugural event was the talk show featuring Pennetta and Fognini, moderated by Federico Ferri from Sky Sport. The former champions shared stories from their careers, reflecting the values of passion and excellence of the project.

The event included over 250 guests, all dressed in white, who enjoyed a welcome cocktail, a gala dinner, and a show at the Sporting Club, where dance reinterpreted iconic tennis movements. Tennis legends such as Raffaella Reggi and Sandra Cecchini were also in attendance.

With this new Club House, MarePineta not only celebrates its hundred years of history but also lays the foundations for a future where tennis remains a crucial element of its identity.
