Miami to Host the Esports Awards 2026
The Esports Awards announce Miami as the host city for 2026, opening voting until November.

The Esports Awards will hold their 2026 ceremony in Miami, Florida, marking the first time the event takes place in this city. The show will occur in November, in collaboration with the Esports World Cup and Oakley. In addition to the announcement of the host city, the Esports Awards revealed their first wave of finalists during the official Spotlight Show, hosted by Soe Gschwind, Phil “EE” Visu, James “Dash” Patterson, and Lottie Van-Praag. The initial list includes categories such as Esports Game of the Year, Esports Mobile Game of the Year, Esports Personality of the Year, Streamer of the Year, and various content and service awards in the industry.
Featured Finalists
Among the featured nominees in this first wave are Darren "iShowSpeed" Jason Watkins Jr. for Streamer of the Year and Animesh "Thug" Agarwal for Esports Personality of the Year. Other names in the Esports Personality of the Year category include Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok, Eefje "Sjokz" Depoortere, Ibai "Ibai" Llanos Garatea, Marc "Caedrel" Robert Lamont, and Nicholas "Jynxzi" Stewart.
Voting Now Open
Voting is already open at www.esportsawards.com/vote and will be available until November 10. During the "Turbo Week," from November 3 to 10, votes will carry "double weight."

"After a fantastic edition in 2025 in Las Vegas, we are excited to bring our main ceremony to Miami for the first time... Together with our key partners Oakley and the Esports World Cup, we are setting the stage for an extraordinary night."
The exact venue in Miami has yet to be announced, but the organization assured that more details will be shared soon.
