SBC Summit Boosts Startups with BettingStartups

The SBC Summit has established a partnership with BettingStartups to enhance its support for early-stage betting and gaming companies. This collaboration will extend to both the Startup Hub and the SBC First Pitch competition. BettingStartups will serve as the official host of the Startup Hub during the SBC Summit 2026 event, which will take place from September 29 to October 1 at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa and the MEO Arena.

Dedicated Spaces for Innovation

The Startup Hub will feature an exhibition area and a networking lounge, providing founders space to showcase their businesses and connect with investors, operators, business partners, and media. BettingStartups is recognized for its role in the early-stage gaming ecosystem, supporting founders through its media platform, podcast, newsletter, events, and investment arm.

This network will bring together a select group of high-quality startups at the event, offering attendees the opportunity to interact with innovative companies that are shaping the industry.

Actions on the Innovation Stage

The collaboration also extends to the Product Innovation Showcase Stage, dedicated to uncovering the next big startup in the iGaming sector. On October 1, the stage will be exclusively reserved for startups, granting founders the opportunity to present new products, technologies, and business ideas to operators and investors.

The First Pitch competition, presented by Jesse Learmonth, founder of BettingStartups, will see five selected startups presenting their businesses live before a panel of investors and industry executives. Each finalist will have three minutes to pitch their idea and three minutes for a Q&A session with the jury. The winner will receive a prize package valued at over €80,000, which includes services and resources to support their development.

More details about the Startup Hub exhibitors and the five finalists of First Pitch will be announced ahead of the event. Access to the Product Innovation Showcase Stage and First Pitch is included with the Conference Pass, Business Pass, and VIP Pass.
