Gibraltar Cultural Awards 2026: Nominees Announced
The Gibraltar Cultural Services has unveiled the nominees for the 2026 Cultural Awards, celebrating exceptional talent and achievements.

The Gibraltar Cultural Services announced the nominees for the 2026 Cultural Awards, aiming to celebrate remarkable achievements in the arts and culture sector of Gibraltar. The selection, based on contributions mainly from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026, was made by the Cultural Awards Board, including The Hon. Fabian Vinet and others. The awards span several categories, with an emphasis on recognising potential, ability, and accomplishments.
Nominees and Categories
The Board shortlisted nominees across multiple categories for public voting. Voting lines, provided by Gibtelecom, open in September. Proceeds will benefit the GBC Open Day charity.

In addition to the main categories, the ceremony will also include special accolades such as Cultural Ambassador, Extraordinary Achievement, and the Ministry of Culture Lifetime Achievement Award. These will be awarded by the Board during the event.
Gala Ceremony Details
The Awards Gala will take place at the Aurora Ballroom, Sunborn Hotel, on Wednesday, 25 November 2026. This event promises to be a highlight, bringing together Gibraltar's cultural community to celebrate these achievements.
