DATA.BET launches esports betting alongside Hollywoodbets in South Africa, providing over 10,000 monthly events across 770 markets.

DATA.BET has signed an agreement with Hollywoodbets to offer esports betting in South Africa, as announced by the companies. This agreement allows Hollywoodbets to integrate DATA.BET's esports betting technology and services, such as a single-page application (iFrame), odds provision, bet builder, widgets, and streaming, as well as risk management and trading. Hollywoodbets customers will have access to more than 770 markets across 30 disciplines and over 10,000 monthly events, including titles such as CS2, Dota 2, Valorant, League of Legends, and Rainbow Six.
Seamless Integration
The collaboration aims to provide Hollywoodbets with a comprehensive esports product that they can launch with confidence. According to Otto Bonning, Head of Sales at DATA.BET, "the iFrame eliminates the complexity of integration, and with our risk management, Hollywoodbets achieves high margins and a consistent user experience from day one."
Potential in the South African Market
Esports is an emerging sector in South Africa. DATA.BET and Hollywoodbets are aligned on a clear plan for their joint growth. Bonning highlights that the system uptime is 99.99%, thus ensuring reliable service.
Wayde Dorkin, Head of Product at Hollywoodbets, notes that "the esports launch is a significant milestone for us, as the category has become a crucial part of the global sports and entertainment landscape." Through this partnership, they offer a comprehensive esports experience with extensive tournament coverage, live streaming, detailed statistics, and a variety of betting markets.
Expansion of Hollywoodbets' Offering
With the inclusion of esports offerings, Hollywoodbets aims to continue evolving its products. "Through our partnership with DATA.BET, we can provide our customers with a complete esports experience," concludes Dorkin, emphasizing the importance of adapting to new trends and market demands.
The agreement between DATA.BET and Hollywoodbets underscores both parties' commitment to expanding their services in the African market and providing bettors with a reliable and modern platform.
