S2G Esports crowned themselves champions of the PUBG MOBILE World Cup 2026 during the finals held at the Esports World Cup in Paris, from August 14 to 16. Under the SMASH event rules, S2G achieved first place and received the largest share of the $3,025,000 prize pool. The finals featured 16 teams competing in 18 matches, with S2G, NS RedForce, Aurora Gaming, and eArena being standout contenders until the final match.
S2G closed the event with 154 points. The competition began on August 6 with a group stage of 32 teams divided into two groups. Teams finishing between 5th and 13th place advanced to a survival stage for the remaining spots in the finals. Tianba qualified with 109 points and 70 eliminations, according to the organizers.

Tianba player Qzz was named FMVP of the tournament, finishing the weekend with 35 eliminations and 6,731 damage dealt. This individual recognition highlights the significant impact of individual players on the overall outcome of the tournament.

According to the organizers, the team accumulated 130 PMGC points in the PMWC, reaching a total of 173 points in the season. Other teams will continue to seek qualification through Season 2 of the PUBG MOBILE Global Open 2026.
