SBC Summit 2026 Introduces Global Payment Compliance Track
The SBC Summit 2026 unveils a Global Payment Compliance track addressing tech, strategies, and regulations in payment compliance.

The SBC Summit 2026 will spotlight the latest advancements in payment compliance with a dedicated "Global Payment Compliance" track on 30 September. This new focus aims to explore technologies, strategies, and regulatory developments critical for enhancing payment systems, addressing threats, and adapting to regulatory demands.
Insights into Global Payment Compliance
The track will convene operators, compliance experts, payment leaders, legal specialists, and technology providers. It will form part of the Payment Expert Summit stage, alongside fintech and blockchain tracks scheduled for 29 September and 1 October, respectively. Rasmus Sojmark, SBC's Founder and CEO, emphasized the necessity of balancing fraud prevention and seamless customer experience, stating, "Payment compliance is one of the industry's major balancing acts."
"Success isn't about choosing between compliance and customer experience; it's about getting both right," remarked Sojmark.
Advanced AML Integration
The session "AML in Motion: Continuous Monitoring in Modern Gaming" will discuss the integration of the latest AML compliance advances. Experts like Luis Carlos Pérez from Lottofy, Gintarė Wycherley from SEON, and others will explore how automation enhances compliance while minimizing friction for players.
AML Challenges Across Africa
Another session, "Cross-Border Compliance: Navigating AML Across African Markets," will address the unique challenges of AML across the rapidly growing African markets. With mobile money gaining prominence, experts will discuss strategies for navigating jurisdictional requirements while ensuring smooth payment processes.
Balancing Compliance and Privacy
"How Much Is Too Much Data?" will tackle the delicate balance between regulatory compliance and player privacy. Industry leaders will share insights on building robust processes that meet regulatory standards without compromising evolving data protection protocols.
Additional Sessions and Networking Opportunities
Additional sessions will cover AML challenges posed by new game formats and explore the reshaping of financial oversight by AI. A focus on anticipating the next phase of European regulation is also included.
