Hard Rock Bet Launches in Ontario, Bringing Operator Count to 48
With the launch of Hard Rock Bet in Ontario, the number of licensed operators has reached 48, offering unique entertainment alongside the Hard Rock Hotel in Ottawa.

Hard Rock Bet has become the 48th licensed iGaming operator in the Canadian province of Ontario following its launch on July 22. This marks the platform's first foray outside the United States. Marlon Goldstein, CEO of Hard Rock Digital, emphasized that the expansion into Ontario reflects the premium entertainment level of the Hard Rock brand.
A New Era for Hard Rock
The launch of Hard Rock Bet in Ontario came a year after receiving a license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). The company will offer players a combination of sports betting and online casino options with more than 3,000 games, including popular slots and live dealer games.
The Significance of Ottawa
Hard Rock Bet in Ontario is intrinsically linked to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, which cost $350 million. The hotel, which opened in July 2025, provides over 150,000 square feet of entertainment space with 1,500 slot machines and 40 gaming tables.
Expanding Presence
Currently, Hard Rock Bet is already present in 10 U.S. jurisdictions, including Arizona, Colorado, Florida, and Virginia, but the online casino is available only in Michigan and New Jersey. This move into Ontario underscores the company's commitment to strengthen its presence beyond the United States.
Plans and Ambitions
Kristina Kramp, President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, stated that the expansion into the digital realm is a natural step forward for the Hard Rock brand in Ontario. The company hopes that the new offering will deliver an unmatched level of service and capture the attention of local players.
Hard Rock Bet is now available for users on iOS and Android, as well as through web browsers at hardrockbet.ca.
Ontario continues to emerge as a significant market for iGaming, attracting major brands like Hard Rock.
