Choctaw Launches Free Sports Betting App

Choctaw Casinos & Resorts has launched a new free sports betting app in Oklahoma, aiming to eventually secure the right to operate an online sportsbook legally. This app, called Choctaw Sports, allows users to predict the outcomes of sporting events without the risk of losing real money. Participants receive credits for betting on 12 sports, including football, baseball, basketball, golf, and more.

Features of the Choctaw Sports App

Users receive free daily credits to make predictions. Choctaw Sports is different from many similar apps due to the absence of in-app purchases or paid add-ons for extra credits. "Love the thrill of sports events, but want to enjoy the game for free? Choctaw Sports lets you make predictions without any costs," reads the app description in the App Store. The app is available to those over 21 years old and can be downloaded nationwide.

Supporting the Legalization of Betting in Oklahoma

Oklahoma remains one of the states where legal sports betting is banned. The main reason is the disagreements with Governor Kevin Stitt, who believes that opening the market to commercial sportsbooks would be in the state's interest. Despite this, Choctaw hopes the situation will change by 2027.

Choctaw Sports helps users get acquainted with the basics of betting. In the event that the app becomes legal, it could serve as a foundation for a future customer base.

Plans for Choctaw iGaming Development

In addition to the sports betting app, the company has been managing a social slots app, Choctaw Slots, since 2022. There are also plans to launch Bet Choctaw, a real-money betting app that will be available to users within Choctaw casino premises.

Choctaw Casinos & Resorts operates a number of gaming and resort properties in southeastern Oklahoma, including cities like Durant, Grant, and Poteau.
